| 50th ANNIVERSARY AFTERNOON TEA |
Some of you may not realise this is our 50th year as a society! We have decided as a committee to arrange a celebratory afternoon tea at the Mayfield Lavender Glasshouse on the Reigate Road near the Drift Bridge, on the 11th July, from 3.30-5.30pm. There is plenty of parking and as well as a scrummy afternoon tea, there will be a glass of Prosecco on arrival. The cost will be £20 a head as we are subsidising the event by £10 per member. |

| Art & Craft Exhibition |
News for all potential exhibitors in our 50th anniversary Art & Craft Exhibition Click here for details On the current volume of works members have indicated they will be submitting we feel able to increase the number of works to a maximum of six per member. This is a big advance on the two works originally set, but we are lucky to have hanging space for significantly more than the 40 or so framed works already promised for the show. Those showing ceramics and other smallish craft items are similarly invited to increase the number of works for the exhibition. No immediate action is necessary. Perhaps members who would like to show more pieces than originally declared would have a word with Brian Ingram. Any queries, you can call Brian on 01372 727805 or email him at brian.ingram743@btinternet.com. |
